Iranian actress Rima Raminfar starring in popular series ‘The Capital’ and ‘The Bounced Check’ sits for exclusive talk with ifilm.
In the exclusive interview with ifilm, the famed Iranian actress said that various seasons of ‘The Capital’ have been made and due to popular demand people always ask me when the next installment would be produced.
She also noted that the series stands out among other TV dramas in Iran, adding, “I believe and have faith in ‘The Capital’ team.”
Five seasons of the series ‘The Capital’, directed by Sirous Moqaddam, already came out in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018.
The first season started with the story of a family's migration from the small town of Aliabad to the capital, Tehran, and depicted the troubles they encounter.
Mohsen Tanabandeh, Alireza Khamseh, Rima Raminfar and Ahmad Mehranfar are among the stars in previous installments of the series.
Raminfar has an M.A. in Theater Directing. She started stage acting in the play 'Good Night, Mother' (1992).
She made her film debut in 1993 with 'Bread, Love and 1000cc Bike’.
Raminfar has also tried her hand at scriptwriting. Her first script 'Until Tomorrow Then' won an award at the Fajr International Theater Festival.
She also won theater awards for her performance in 'Whispers of the Dead' and 'Moment of Silence'.
The actress has appeared in the series, including 'I’m a Tenant' (2003), 'The Capital 1, 2, 3, 4, 5' (2011 - 2018) and 'The Bounced Check' (2012) as well as the movies 'A Cube of Sugar' (2010) and 'Thirteen' (2012).
